What is Doula?
Doulas are non-healthcare professionals who are trained to support the family during pregnancy-related experiences such as childbirth, miscarriage or stillbirth.

Birth and postpartum doulas are professionals who support and assist families in this process by facilitating the new life that comes with the baby.

Scientific studies examining infant care with the doula say that the Doula significantly improves physical and psychological outcomes for both mother and baby. Doulas have a positive impact on the well-being of the entire family.

Doulas are people who provide emotional and physical support to you during your pregnancy and birth. Doulas are not medical professionals. They are not responsible for baby delivery or provide medical care. A certified Doula takes a training program and goes through a series of training sessions on how to help pregnant women and their families during this exciting but challenging experience.
