BIRTH DOULA SERVICES

Birth doulas support women, deliverers and families planning for any type of birth, from planned cesarean delivery to early epidural birth to home water birth.

Antenatally, a birth doula will usually meet with the family at least twice, and phone or email support is available as questions or concerns arise. You will have the opportunity to talk about any concerns, study birth preferences, and get to know their doula.

When the birth contractions start or the symptoms are felt, we are communicated and we can determine the meeting place and time.

During the active phase of birth (after 5 cm gap or when contractions start to feel strong), I come to your home or hospital and support you during the birth and during the first 3 breastfeedings after birth. I do not have any medical intervention during birth and I do not act as a conduit with the delivery team. I only have a duty to increase the mother's comfort and help her cope with the pain. If I cannot attend the birth for reasons not caused by me, my doula service fee is covered.

Details of the doula service will be communicated to you in the doula service contract.

The doula service fee is valid throughout the birth. It is charged with 1500 pounds. If the delivery is long or if I am called before the active period, it will be charged at 25 pounds per hour after 24 hours.

If I attend the birth of couples who have received birth preparation training from me, I provide postnatal breastfeeding consultancy service free of charge.
